An Invitation to Join our Staff
The Westport Public Schools employ over 800 staff members in a variety of positions supporting our five elementary schools, two middle schools and Staples High School. Our schools thrive because our staff is talented, highly skilled, and dedicated to providing the children of Westport with an excellent education.
The Human Resources Department is available to answer any questions that both existing and prospective staff members may have concerning employment in Westport, including questions about salary, certification, tuition reimbursement, state and district forms, and the application process. Applications for Permanent Substitute positions will be accepted on line beginning on August 1, 2012. Applications for Daily Substitute positions will be available in the Human Resources office beginning on August 13, 2012.
